PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT I COLLECT, WHY IT’S COLLECTED AND HOW I USE IT

I obtain information about you when you enquire or book your ceremony with us. This section sets out in more detail what information I collect, why I collect it, how I use it and how long I keep your information.

To make or enquire about a booking, I require your names, email address and /or phone number. This information is required so that I can arrange your booking, notify you if there are any changes to your booking and correspond accordingly in relation to your wedding. If I record an email address, it will only be for the purpose of emailing ceremony information, an invoice, to discuss or advise you about your booking or to obtain a testimonial post-wedding, and never for marketing purposes.

The personal data is used to administer your account and provide the products and services you have requested from me. For example, invoicing, appointment changes and to keep a record for legal and accounting purposes.

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION

You may request, at any time, a copy of the personal information Marry Us, Libby holds about you, at no cost. Should you wish to access or update the personal information that we hold, please contact us by emailing info@marryuslibby.com. If you wish to have the information Marry Us, Libby holds on your person removed, please request this by emailing info@marryuslibby.com– as long as your information is not pertinent to the completion of a contract or required for any legal reason it will be removed. Once I have received your information, I will use strict procedures and security features to restrict unauthorised access.

STORING YOUR DATA

Marry Us, Libby will keep your personal data on a password protected electronic device for 2 years, unless the period of time between booking and wedding is longer than this, in which case the time would be 6 months after the wedding, Once this time period has expired, I will delete your data from our records.
